Responsibilities
- Perform routine landscaping, mowing, edging, and trimming of parks, trails, and recreational facilities.
- Ensure cleanliness of restrooms, playgrounds, and picnic areas through regular sweeping and trash removal.
- Assist in the preparation and setup of community events, sports tournaments, and recreational programs.
- Monitor park facilities for safety hazards, vandalism, or maintenance needs and report them promptly.
- Interact courteously with park visitors to answer questions and provide assistance.
- Operate and maintain basic landscaping and maintenance equipment safely.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, custodial work, or public service is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs and working in various weather conditions.
- Valid Arizona Class D Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Strong commitment to safety protocols and environmental stewardship.
