Responsibilities
- Maintain and landscape parks, playgrounds, athletic fields, and golf courses to ensure high standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Perform routine facility maintenance, including restroom cleaning, trash removal, and light repairs.
- Set up and dismantle recreational equipment, bleachers, and event structures.
- Monitor park activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations and park rules.
- Assist in the operation of recreational programs, including sports leagues and community events.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles in safe working condition.
- Respond to citizen inquiries and resolve park-related issues efficiently.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to perform physical labor including lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of landscaping tools and machinery is preferred.
- Strong commitment to customer service and public safety.
- Valid California Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Availability to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts.
