Responsibilities
- Perform daily park maintenance including landscaping, equipment operation, and facility upkeep
- Organize and supervise recreational activities for all age groups
- Ensure public safety by enforcing park rules and conducting regular inspections
- Assist with special events including festivals, sports leagues, and educational programs
- Provide excellent customer service to park visitors and community stakeholders
- Complete accurate maintenance logs and incident reports
- Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental goals
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work evenings/weekends for events
- Desire to serve the Columbus community
