Responsibilities
- Maintain park landscapes, playgrounds, and athletic fields
- Operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment (mowers, trimmers, etc.)
- Perform seasonal planting and irrigation system management
- Conduct routine facility inspections and minor repairs
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards
- Assist in emergency storm response and cleanup operations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 2 years groundskeeping or maintenance experience
- Valid Oregon driver's license with clean record
- Certification in pesticide application (preferred)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in all weather conditions
- Experience operating heavy machinery (mowers, tractors)
- Basic plumbing/carpentry skills (preferred)
