Responsibilities
- Perform routine landscape maintenance, including mowing, trimming, and weeding in parks and public spaces.
- Maintain and repair park facilities, including restrooms, benches, and playground equipment.
- Operate and maintain heavy landscaping equipment, such as tractors, mowers, and chainsaws.
- Assist with the installation and upkeep of irrigation systems.
- Ensure all work areas are clean, safe, and free of hazards.
- Respond to maintenance requests and perform emergency repairs as needed.
- Assist with special events and seasonal beautification projects.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid California Class C Driver’s License and a satisfactory driving record.
- Physical ability to perform strenuous outdoor labor for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of landscaping tools and machinery.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions, including extreme heat and rain.
- Strong commitment to public service and community safety.
