Responsibilities
- Maintain park facilities, landscaping, and athletic fields
- Operate equipment including mowers, trimmers, and irrigation systems
- Assist with special event setup and coordination
- Ensure safety compliance and proper signage maintenance
- Perform routine facility inspections and minor repairs
- Support youth and adult recreation programs
- Collaborate with team members on park improvement projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid California Driver's License
- First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience in groundskeeping or facility maintenance preferred
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical tasks
- Knowledge of basic landscaping principles
