Responsibilities
- Maintain park grounds, athletic fields, and trails through mowing, pruning, and irrigation management
- Operate maintenance equipment safely and efficiently
- Assist with event setup, breakdown, and supervision at community parks
- Enforce park rules and ensure visitor safety through proactive monitoring
- Perform light facility maintenance and repairs (benches, signage, playgrounds)
- Collaborate with team members on seasonal projects and beautification initiatives
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
- Valid Texas Class C Driver's License with clean driving record
- 1+ years grounds maintenance or park operations experience preferred
- Certification in CPR/First Aid (or willingness to obtain within 60 days)
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift 50+ lbs
- Strong communication skills and commitment to public service values
