Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain park facilities (playgrounds, sports courts, picnic areas)
- Lead recreational programs for diverse age groups (sports, arts, fitness)
- Enforce park safety regulations and conduct routine inspections
- Assist with special events setup, coordination, and breakdown
- Maintain clean and safe environments through trash removal and landscape care
- Respond to visitor inquiries and resolve facility concerns
- Collaborate with team on seasonal park beautification projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year experience in parks maintenance or customer service
- Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends/holidays
- Valid California Driver's License with clean record
- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and perform outdoor labor
- Strong communication skills in English and Spanish preferred
- Pass background check and drug screening
