Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain park facilities including playgrounds, sports courts, and walking trails
- Assist in organizing and executing community events, festivals, and recreational programs
- Conduct routine park inspections and report maintenance needs or safety hazards
- Support environmental conservation efforts through habitat restoration and waste management
- Provide excellent customer service to park visitors and address inquiries professionally
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure park cleanliness and accessibility
- Participate in seasonal projects such as landscaping, irrigation repair, and facility upgrades
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
- Valid California Driver's License with clean driving record
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain)
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs and perform manual labor tasks
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Basic computer literacy for reporting and scheduling systems
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed
