Responsibilities
- Maintain park facilities, grounds, and recreational equipment
- Organize and supervise community events and youth programs
- Operate park machinery safely (mowers, trimmers, irrigation systems)
- Enforce park rules and ensure visitor safety
- Assist in facility setup/breakdown for special events
- Perform routine inspections and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with team members on seasonal projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean record
- Basic knowledge of grounds maintenance procedures
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- First Aid/CPR certification preferred
- Previous park or recreation experience a plus
