Responsibilities
- Manage incoming communications, including answering phones and directing inquiries to the appropriate departments.
- Process and maintain accurate records, filing, and data entry for government documents.
- Assist in the preparation of meeting agendas, minutes, and departmental reports.
- Coordinate schedules and appointments for department staff and public visitors.
- Ensure strict adherence to county policies, procedures, and confidentiality protocols.
- Perform light errands and assist with special projects as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate’s degree preferred.
- Previous experience in an administrative or clerical role is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic computer skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain organized records.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
