Responsibilities
- Manage high-volume incoming communications, including phone calls, emails, and mail, routing inquiries to the appropriate personnel promptly.
- Perform accurate data entry and maintain comprehensive electronic and hard-copy filing systems for government records.
- Prepare, proofread, and distribute departmental correspondence, reports, and meeting materials.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, including room bookings and calendar management for senior staff.
- Maintain office inventory, order supplies, and assist in the organization of departmental events.
- Provide general administrative support to various divisions, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance with agency protocols.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of progressive administrative or clerical experience in a government or corporate environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Google Workspace.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on professionalism and discretion.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or possess the legal right to work in the United States.
