Responsibilities
- Process and maintain veteran benefit documentation with precision and confidentiality
- Provide exceptional customer service to veterans and their families via phone, email, and in-person
- Coordinate administrative tasks including scheduling, filing, and data entry
- Assist with preparation of reports and correspondence using federal formatting standards
- Support team operations by managing office supplies and equipment inventory
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations and agency policies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline service delivery
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Minimum 1 year administrative or customer service experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to pass federal background check and fingerprinting
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work 20-25 hours per week with flexible scheduling
