Responsibilities
- Develop and implement targeted outreach strategies for underserved communities
- Organize and facilitate community workshops and information sessions
- Collect and analyze community feedback to improve service delivery
- Maintain accurate records of interactions and program participation
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams on public initiatives
- Create multilingual educational materials (Spanish proficiency required)
- Represent county programs at local events and community meetings
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum 1 year community outreach or public service experience
- Fluent in English and Spanish (written and verbal)
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and data management tools
- Valid California driver's license with reliable transportation
- Ability to work evenings/weekends for community events
- Strong conflict resolution and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of San Diego County demographics and resources
