Responsibilities
- Record Management: Digitize and organize physical and electronic documents to ensure accurate, accessible, and secure filing systems for state agencies.
- Data Entry: Perform high-volume data entry tasks with a focus on speed and accuracy, ensuring all government forms and applications are processed correctly.
- Customer Support: Assist visitors and internal staff with inquiries regarding filing procedures, records access, and departmental policies.
- Compliance: Ensure all data handling and storage procedures adhere to state and federal privacy regulations and government standards.
- Report Generation: Assist in the preparation of routine reports and statistics using office software.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Business Administration or Public Administration is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in data entry, administrative support, or records management within a corporate or government setting.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and experience with database management systems.
