Responsibilities
- Manage daily office operations including correspondence filing and document management
- Provide administrative support to veteran service coordinators
- Process veteran benefit applications and eligibility verification
- Maintain accurate records in federal databases (VA-specific systems)
- Coordinate scheduling for veteran appointments and meetings
- Assist with outreach initiatives for veteran community events
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations and VA protocols
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Minimum 1 year administrative support experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to obtain and maintain federal background clearance
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Experience with data entry and record management systems
- Basic knowledge of veteran services preferred
