Responsibilities
- Manage and organize incoming mail, emails, and confidential documents with strict adherence to privacy protocols.
- Coordinate appointments and schedule meetings for federal staff members.
- Provide high-level customer service and information to veterans visiting the Los Angeles Regional Office.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and correspondence using federal systems.
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate digital and physical records.
- Support special projects and ad-hoc administrative tasks as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship is required for federal employment.
- Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain a security clearance.
- Minimum of 1 year of administrative or clerical experience in a professional setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and federal software systems.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
