Responsibilities
- Process veteran benefit applications and documentation with strict compliance to federal regulations
- Manage electronic filing systems and maintain accurate digital records (VA VISTA experience preferred)
- Coordinate with multiple departments to resolve veteran inquiries within SLA requirements
- Prepare official correspondence and reports using standardized templates and formatting
- Support veteran outreach events and community engagement initiatives
- Utilize HR systems for timekeeping and scheduling coordination
- Adhere to all security protocols for sensitive veteran data handling
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required (per federal employment guidelines)
- Minimum 2 years administrative experience in government or regulated environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat
- Ability to obtain and maintain moderate-level federal security clearance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with proven accuracy in data entry and documentation
- Experience with case management systems (e.g., VA VISTA, eBenefits)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
