Responsibilities
- Process and verify veteran benefit applications for accuracy and compliance
- Provide in-person and virtual consultations on federal benefit programs
- Maintain confidential records using VA-specific software systems
- Coordinate with VA medical facilities and community partners
- Conduct eligibility screenings and assist with documentation
- Generate benefit reports and maintain case files
- Participate in quarterly benefit outreach initiatives
Qualifications
- Associate's degree or 2+ years administrative experience
- Familiarity with federal benefit programs (VA, SSA, etc.)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database systems
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Basic knowledge of veteran-related legislation
- Valid U.S. driver's license
- U.S. citizenship required
