Responsibilities
- Process and administer veterans' benefit applications with precision and empathy
- Conduct eligibility assessments for federal healthcare and disability programs
- Provide exceptional customer service to veterans and their families via phone and in-person
- Maintain accurate electronic records using VA case management systems
- Coordinate with federal agencies to resolve complex benefit inquiries
- Assist with outreach programs to connect veterans with available resources
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain federal background clearance
- Associate's degree in public administration or related field
- 1+ years of experience in benefits administration or customer service
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and case management software
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work 20-30 hours per week with flexible scheduling
