Responsibilities
- Manage and organize federal contract documentation, ensuring strict compliance with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation) standards.
- Coordinate communication channels between federal agencies and internal project teams to streamline procurement processes.
- Prepare and review procurement packages, purchase orders, and vendor contracts for accuracy and compliance.
- Assist in the preparation of audit records, compliance reports, and regulatory filings for federal oversight bodies.
- Update and maintain the central database for all active federal projects and personnel records.
- Answer inquiries regarding contract status, deliverables, and administrative procedures in a professional and timely manner.
- Conduct routine quality control checks on all outgoing federal correspondence.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship is required for this federal position.
- Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Previous experience in a federal or government contracting environment is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of federal procurement policies, compliance regulations, and contract lifecycle management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically advanced Excel and Word.
- Ability to work a flexible part-time schedule (approx. 20-25 hours per week).
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
