- Data Collection & Analysis: Gather, clean, and interpret complex datasets related to federal projects to identify trends and insights.
- Reporting & Visualization: Create comprehensive visualizations, dashboards, and reports using tools like Tableau or Power BI to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Compliance & Integrity: Ensure all data handling processes adhere to federal security standards, regulatory compliance, and internal quality assurance protocols.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and solve complex analytical problems.
- Documentation: Maintain up-to-date documentation of data models, processes, and analysis methodologies.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Information Systems, Public Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience in data analysis, preferably within the federal, state, or local government sector.
- Tech Stack: Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R for data manipulation and analysis.
- Visualization: Strong working knowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar).
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex data to non-technical audiences.
- Availability: Ability to commit to a part-time schedule with a high degree of independence and professionalism.
