Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret federal healthcare datasets to identify trends and inform policy decisions
- Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau/Power BI for federal stakeholders
- Ensure data integrity through rigorous validation processes and compliance with HIPAA/FERPA regulations
- Collaborate with epidemiologists and program managers on grant-funded research initiatives
- Automate data pipelines using Python/SQL to streamline reporting workflows
- Present findings to senior leadership through concise executive summaries
- Maintain documentation of data methodologies and analysis protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Public Health, or related field
- 2+ years of experience with federal or healthcare data analysis
- Proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas), and R for statistical modeling
- Certification in Tableau or Power BI (preferred)
- Strong understanding of federal data privacy regulations (HIPAA, 21 CFR Part 11)
- Ability to work 20-25 hours/week with flexible scheduling
- U.S. citizenship and ability to pass federal background check
- Experience with large-scale datasets (100M+ records)
