Responsibilities
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for federal agency hardware and software systems.
- Ensure strict adherence to federal security protocols, including NIST standards and agency-specific compliance requirements.
- Assist in the maintenance and configuration of secure network infrastructure and data centers.
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to mitigate potential risks.
- Prepare and present detailed technical reports and status updates to federal stakeholders and program managers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new technologies and streamline government workflows.
- Document all technical procedures and system changes in accordance with federal record-keeping regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Active Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance (must be willing to maintain).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a federal or government IT environment.
- Strong knowledge of federal acquisition regulations (FAR) and ITIL best practices.
- Proficiency in network security, cloud computing, and data protection tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a part-time capacity.
