Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support for hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal cybersecurity protocols, FISMA regulations, and NIST frameworks.
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and upgrades of workstations, servers, and mobile devices.
- Assist in the deployment of new hardware and the configuration of secure operating systems.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all technical incidents, resolutions, and service requests.
- Conduct user training sessions on new software applications and federal security best practices.
- Collaborate with the central IT office to resolve complex network outages and systemic issues.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship: Required for federal employment and access to secure facilities.
- Education: Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in IT support, systems administration, or a related technical role.
- Certifications: CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or equivalent certifications are highly preferred.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of federal IT policies, security clearance protocols, and physical security requirements.
- Skills: Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems, as well as experience with remote access tools and helpdesk software.
- Attributes: Strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently, and excellent communication skills.
