Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues for federal personnel.
- Manage and maintain IT asset inventory, ensuring accurate tracking of federal equipment.
- Assist in the configuration and deployment of secure workstations and mobile devices.
- Conduct regular system checks and perform routine maintenance to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance with federal cybersecurity standards (e.g., NIST).
- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation and incident reports.
- Assist in the rollout of new federal software applications and updates.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Active Federal Government security clearance (or the ability to obtain one) is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or system administration.
- Familiarity with FedRAMP or other federal IT security frameworks is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with diverse teams.
- Ability to commit to a specific part-time schedule (typically 20-30 hours per week).
