Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support for federal end-users, including hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.
- Manage and maintain the Service Desk ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution of all reported issues.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal information security regulations (e.g., FISMA, NIST) and data privacy standards.
- Install, configure, and patch operating systems and applications to ensure system integrity.
- Conduct regular system audits and prepare detailed technical documentation and incident reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process improvement and system optimization.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Bachelor's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or systems administration.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, and Office 365.
- Familiarity with federal government IT frameworks and security protocols is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical staff.
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance (if required).
