Responsibilities
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for federal hardware and software systems.
- Assist in the configuration, maintenance, and security of local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN).
- Monitor system performance and conduct regular maintenance to ensure optimal operational efficiency.
- Document technical procedures and maintain accurate records of system changes and user issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new federal IT policies and compliance measures.
- Respond to service requests and resolve technical inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent; Associate’s degree in Information Technology or related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support, networking, or a related technical field.
- Understanding of federal IT security protocols and compliance standards.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to obtain a government background check (if applicable).
