Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support for federal hardware and software issues.
- Maintain accurate records of all support tickets and service requests in the ticketing system.
- Assist in the deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting of mobile devices and workstations.
- Ensure compliance with federal information security policies and IT governance standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical incidents.
- Conduct regular hardware inventory checks and manage asset tagging for federal equipment.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in IT or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support, preferably within a federal or state government environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic scripting languages (PowerShell/Batch).
- Strong understanding of network protocols and hardware components.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance (if required).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical users.
