Responsibilities
- Provide tier-2 technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Manage and maintain user accounts and access privileges within federal security protocols.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems (Windows, Linux) and applications.
- Monitor system performance and apply necessary security patches and updates.
- Assist in the migration and maintenance of legacy federal systems.
- Document technical issues and resolutions in the central helpdesk database.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Computer Science or IT preferred.
- Basic understanding of federal IT security standards and compliance (e.g., NIST).
- Experience with Active Directory and network administration.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible for a Public Trust Security Clearance.
- Flexibility to work varying schedules, including evenings or weekends as required by agency needs.
