Responsibilities
- Manage and organize incoming and outgoing federal correspondence and records in compliance with 48 CFR standards.
- Perform accurate data entry into the Federal Information System (FIS) and maintain digital databases.
- Assist in the preparation of FOIA (Freedom of Information Act) requests and document retrieval.
- Conduct routine audits of filing systems to ensure physical and digital security protocols are met.
- Coordinate with agency personnel to facilitate document transfer and archiving processes.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace to support efficient daily operations.
- Update filing indexes and ensure all documents are labeled correctly for easy retrieval.
Qualifications
- United States Citizenship is required for federal positions.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent; Associate's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in administrative support, records management, or government contracting.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and document management software.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Ability to work part-time hours (20-30 hours per week) with flexibility for overtime during peak periods.
- Basic understanding of federal compliance regulations is a plus.
