Responsibilities
- Manage and process incoming federal applications and inquiries with precision and strict confidentiality.
- Update and maintain accurate records within the VA electronic filing and case management systems.
- Assist in the coordination of intake appointments and scheduling for field services representatives.
- Perform high-volume data entry and quality assurance checks to ensure compliance with federal regulations.
- Communicate effectively with veterans, families, and agency staff regarding program eligibility and procedures.
- Prepare weekly status reports and assist with administrative logistics for the regional team.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent; Associate’s degree preferred.
- Previous experience in a federal, state, or municipal government office setting is highly desirable.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and government-specific databases.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to federal security protocols.
- Proven ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
