Core Responsibilities:
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and technical support to federal program managers and staff, ensuring compliance with strict government regulations.
- Conduct research and compile data on federal policy updates, preparing briefs and reports for senior leadership.
- Manage calendars, coordinate meetings, and handle sensitive correspondence with high discretion and professionalism.
- Assist in the preparation of grant applications, budget proposals, and compliance documentation.
- Maintain and update electronic filing systems, ensuring the security and accessibility of sensitive federal records.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency within the department.
- Represent the organization at community outreach events and stakeholder meetings as required.
Qualifications
- United States Citizenship is required for this position.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in administrative support, government relations, or a related field.
- Familiarity with federal regulations, compliance standards, and government contracting processes is highly desirable.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with database management systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to draft professional correspondence.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment in sensitive situations.
