Responsibilities
- Record Management: Organize, classify, and maintain complex federal case files and digital records in strict accordance with VA regulations and security protocols.
- Customer Service: Serve as the first point of contact for inquiries, providing accurate information regarding federal programs and processing times.
- Data Entry: Input and update sensitive information into VA databases with high accuracy and data integrity standards.
- Compliance: Monitor workflows to ensure all federal processing guidelines are followed and audit records for compliance.
- Communication: Coordinate with federal supervisors and colleagues to ensure smooth daily operations and timely task completion.
- Security: Adhere to all security clearance requirements and safeguard classified or sensitive information.
Qualifications
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. citizen to apply for federal positions.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in administrative support, records management, or customer service.
- Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to learn new federal software systems quickly.
- Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust background clearance.
- Location: Must be willing and able to work on-site in Nashville, TN.
