Responsibilities
- Conduct Comprehensive Research: Analyze complex legislative data and government reports to support policy development and decision-making processes.
- Prepare Technical Documentation: Draft clear, concise, and accurate briefing papers, memos, and statistical analyses for senior management.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with interdepartmental teams and external partners to gather requirements and ensure project alignment.
- Monitor Regulatory Changes: Track legislative updates and regulatory shifts relevant to agency operations to ensure compliance.
- Support Budgetary Analysis: Assist in the preparation of financial projections and cost-benefit analyses for proposed initiatives.
- Data Management: Maintain and organize databases and records to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Economics, or a related field required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in government, policy analysis, or administrative support roles.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is highly preferred.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information to diverse audiences.
- Attention to Detail: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with a high degree of accuracy.
- Security Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a favorable background investigation (Public Trust).
