Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to visitors and callers at the front desk.
- Assist with the intake and processing of public documents and forms.
- Maintain accurate and organized records in both physical and digital filing systems.
- Prepare correspondence, memos, and reports as directed by supervisors.
- Perform data entry and basic research using government databases.
- Support department staff with administrative tasks to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Uphold strict confidentiality regarding sensitive citizen information.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a government, public administration, or customer service role is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic computer skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse populations.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
- Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
