Responsibilities
- Maintain and organize public records in compliance with Texas Open Records Act
- Process document requests from citizens, businesses, and government agencies
- Digitize physical records using city scanning systems
- Assist with redaction of sensitive information per legal guidelines
- Update and manage electronic record databases
- Provide courteous, accurate responses to public inquiries
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams on records retention policies
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred
- 1+ years administrative or records management experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
