Responsibilities
- Research and identify relevant grant opportunities from foundations, corporations, and government agencies
- Develop persuasive grant proposals and applications aligned with programmatic goals
- Collaborate with program teams to gather necessary data and impact metrics
- Manage grant reporting requirements and ensure timely submission of deliverables
- Maintain accurate grant tracking systems and reporting calendars
- Build and nurture relationships with current and potential funders
- Stay updated on funding trends and compliance regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Nonprofit Management, or related field
- 3+ years of professional grant writing experience with a 70%+ funding success rate
- Proven ability to secure $500K+ grants from diverse funding sources
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with attention to detail
- Strong research and analytical abilities
- Experience with nonprofit financial reporting and budget development
- Proficiency in grant management software (e.g., GrantStation, Salesforce NPSP)
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
