Responsibilities
- Research and identify federal, state, and private funding opportunities aligned with organizational goals
- Develop and write persuasive grant proposals, budgets, and reports meeting funder requirements
- Cultivate relationships with program staff to gather necessary data and impact stories
- Manage grant application processes including deadlines, compliance, and reporting
- Analyze funding trends and provide strategic recommendations for funding diversification
- Maintain accurate records of grant activities and outcomes in CRM systems
- Represent the organization at funder meetings and community events
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Nonprofit Management, or related field
- 3+ years of professional grant writing experience with $500K+ secured funding
- Proven success with federal, state, and foundation grant applications
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Strong analytical abilities for budget development and program evaluation
- Experience with nonprofit CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Little Green Light)
- Knowledge of healthcare funding landscape preferred
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
