Responsibilities

  • Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support via phone, email, and in-person for VDOT staff.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, including printers, laptops, and network connectivity.
  • Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of desktop applications and operating systems.
  • Manage and maintain the IT asset inventory, including tracking hardware and software licenses.
  • Respond to help desk tickets in a timely manner and maintain accurate documentation of all support interactions.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology preferred.
