As a Part-Time Parks and Recreation Worker, you will play a vital role in maintaining the beauty and safety of our local parks, ensuring residents have a welcoming environment to enjoy.

Responsibilities
- Maintain park grounds, including mowing, weeding, raking, and trimming grass and shrubbery.
- Clean and sanitize park facilities, restrooms, and playground equipment to ensure high hygiene standards.
- Assist in the set-up and breakdown of recreational events, sports leagues, and community programs.
- Monitor park activities to ensure compliance with park rules and regulations.
- Perform minor repairs to park structures, fences, and park amenities.
- Interact with the public in a professional and courteous manner, answering inquiries and providing information.
- Operate light maintenance equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework is a plus.
- Previous experience in landscaping, custodial work, or customer service is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical labor including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Valid California Driver's License and a clean driving record.
- Strong commitment to community service and environmental conservation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
