Responsibilities
- Process emergency and non-emergency calls with exceptional speed and accuracy
- Dispatch police units, fire services, and medical responders to incident locations
- Maintain detailed records in CAD/RMS systems during active incidents
- Provide life-saving instructions to callers during medical emergencies
- Operate multiple communication channels (radio, phone, digital) simultaneously
- Collaborate with cross-agency personnel during major incidents
- Adhere to strict confidentiality and HIPAA compliance standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Minimum typing speed of 40 WPM with 95% accuracy
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Valid Texas Driver's License with clean driving record
- Experience in high-pressure customer service environments preferred
- Basic computer proficiency with MS Office applications
- Must be at least 18 years old and a U.S. citizen
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
