Responsibilities
- Receive and prioritize emergency/non-emergency calls for service
- Dispatch police, fire, and medical personnel efficiently
- Maintain accurate call records and CAD system data
- Operate radio and telephone equipment per protocols
- Provide critical information to field units during emergencies
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during critical incidents
- Perform routine system checks and equipment maintenance
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Must be 18+ years old and US citizen
- Pass background check, drug screen, and psychological evaluation
- Exceptional communication and multitasking abilities
- Ability to remain calm under high-pressure situations
- Basic computer proficiency and typing skills (40+ WPM)
- Willingness to work rotating shifts including nights/holidays
