Responsibilities
- Process emergency/non-emergency calls via 911, radio, and digital systems with precision and empathy
- Dispatch police, fire, and EMS units using CAD/RMS technologies
- Maintain detailed incident logs and ensure accurate documentation
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during critical incidents
- Provide critical pre-arrival instructions to callers in distress
- Operate radio equipment and communication systems per department protocols
- Participate in continuous training and certification programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Pass criminal background check and drug screening
- Ability to type 35+ WPM with accuracy
- Strong multi-tasking and decision-making skills
- Clear communication ability in high-stress situations
- Basic computer proficiency (Windows OS, MS Office)
- Valid Oklahoma driver's license
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/weekends
