Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on city streets, sidewalks, and drainage systems
- Operate light construction equipment (saws, jackhammers, compactors)
- Assphalt patching and concrete repair duties
- Participate in emergency response operations during weather events
- Maintain clean and organized work zones following OSHA standards
- Document daily progress and material usage
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on large-scale projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Arizona Driver's License (Class C minimum)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Experience with hand/power tools preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions
- Pass pre-employment physical and background check
- Basic math skills for material calculations
