Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on streets, sidewalks, and public facilities
- Operate light machinery (e.g., sweepers, compactors) safely and efficiently
- Assist in storm drain clearing and snow removal operations
- Support traffic control and work zone setup for municipal projects
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and basic troubleshooting
- Collaborate with crews to maintain clean, safe work environments
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Missouri driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic mechanical aptitude and equipment operation experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety protocols
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends as needed
