Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including road maintenance, park upkeep, and facility repairs
- Operate light machinery (e.g., lawnmowers, trimmers, hand tools) safely and efficiently
- Assist in stormwater drainage system inspections and debris removal
- Support public event setups and venue preparations
- Participate in seasonal beautification projects and green space management
- Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and departmental procedures
- Maintain accurate work logs and equipment maintenance records
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Tennessee driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety equipment
- Availability to work flexible shifts including weekends/holidays
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or in teams
- Willingness to obtain required certifications (training provided)
- Residency in Davidson County preferred
