Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on city streets, sidewalks, and drainage systems
- Operate light machinery (e.g., mowers, trimmers, sweepers) safely and efficiently
- Assist in storm debris cleanup and emergency response operations
- Support park maintenance activities including landscape management
- Participate in traffic control and flagging duties during infrastructure projects
- Conduct visual inspections of public facilities and report maintenance needs
- Maintain clean and organized work areas and equipment
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Driver's License with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor in varying weather conditions
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and equipment operation
- Ability to follow safety protocols and work collaboratively
- Experience in construction, landscaping, or maintenance preferred
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and background check
