Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including sweeping, raking, and cleaning streets, sidewalks, and public parks.
- Assist in the removal of trash, debris, and illegal dumping from public right-of-way areas.
- Operate light equipment and tools such as brooms, shovels, rakes, and street sweepers.
- Assist in the maintenance and repair of public infrastructure, including guardrails and traffic signs.
- Load and unload materials, supplies, and equipment as needed for daily operations.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with all OSHA safety standards.
- Perform snow and ice removal duties during inclement weather events.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Valid California Class C Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, and walking on uneven terrain.
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools is a plus.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
