Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including sweeping, cleaning, and maintaining public sidewalks and streets.
- Assist with snow and ice removal operations during inclement weather to ensure public safety.
- Operate and maintain light equipment such as brooms, shovels, and sweepers.
- Collect and properly dispose of litter, trash, and debris in designated areas.
- Assist in the maintenance of parks, public buildings, and right-of-way areas.
- Perform basic maintenance on public infrastructure and report necessary repairs.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and traffic control procedures while working on or near roadways.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Valid Driver's License (Class C) and a clean driving record.
- Ability to perform physical labor in all weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Basic knowledge of safety regulations and construction site protocols.
